This months theme is before and after meaning you post a picture you took raw and show the tweaked version of it. so here is my submission. I love this picture, i took it of Chloe watching the dragon boat races last month.

Ok here comes the part where im supposed to tell what all i did to this picture but to be honest i really dont remember everything so im just going to go with what i remember LOL. Well to begin with I used Picasa 3 to crop it then i used the glow feature to bring out the highlights in the picture. After that I decided i wanted to do a color splash of her red ribbons because of the symbolic meaning of "the red thread" and China adoption. I just photobucket to black and white everything in the picture except the ribbons.Nikon D-40

Love the original and think the color isolation in the edit is great (although the red against the BW is a little too bright for me- maybe bring it down just a bit). But still a great shot and a sweet little girl
